OEM vs Aftermarket — Why It Matters
There are three quality tiers of replacement screens: refurbished originals (best — closest to factory), high-grade aftermarket (very good — what we use by default), and low-grade aftermarket (cheap — what discount kiosks use). We only use the top two tiers, never the bottom. The difference shows up in color accuracy, touch responsiveness, brightness, and longevity.
