1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the services of 2A Electronics Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Repair Services

ALL PRICES ARE FOR PREMIUM/OLED PARTS. IF YOU ARE ASKING FOR ORIGINAL PARTS AND AFTERMARKET PARTS PLEASE CONTACT US.
🔒 ACCOUNT & PIN SECURITY
WE NEVER ASK TO REMOVE ACCOUNT OR PIN WHILE YOU SEND THE ITEM FOR REPAIR. WE WILL ASK FOR INFORMATION ONLY IF WE NEED IT WITH CUSTOMER CONSENT.
- Estimates: All repair quotes are estimates. Final pricing may vary based on actual diagnosis.
- Warranty: Repairs carry a 1-month warranty covering parts and labor for the specific repair performed.
- Data: We are not responsible for data loss. Customers must back up all data before submitting devices.
- Unclaimed Devices: If a repaired or dropped-off device is not claimed within 90 days of our notice that it is ready (or of our attempts to contact you), it will be treated as abandoned property and may be disposed of, recycled, or sold to recover unpaid charges, in accordance with applicable Illinois abandoned-property and repair-lien law. We will make reasonable attempts to contact you at the phone number and email on file before any disposal. Any proceeds beyond amounts owed are handled as required by law.
- Third-Party Parts: Some repairs may use quality aftermarket parts unless OEM is specifically requested.
3. Device Trade-In Services
⚠️ IMPORTANT - DEVICE PREPARATION
BEFORE SELLING YOUR DEVICE: You MUST FACTORY RESET your device, REMOVE all accounts (iCloud, Google, Samsung), REMOVE PIN/Password, and REMOVE SIM card. Devices with active locks or accounts cannot be processed and may be returned at your expense.

2A Electronics Service is a licensed secondhand dealer. To sell or trade in any device, you must present a valid government-issued photo ID and complete a bill of sale at the time of the transaction. We record seller information and device identifiers (e.g., IMEI/serial) as required by law. We do not purchase devices that are reported lost or stolen, are subject to an active financing/installment plan, or that the seller is not legally authorized to sell.
- Quote Validity: All estimates and quotes are valid for 21 days from the date of issue. After 21 days, device values may be re-evaluated based on current market conditions.
- Final Sale: All buyback and trade-in transactions are FINAL SALE. Once payment is issued, the transaction cannot be reversed.
- Quotes: Online quotes are estimates. Final offers are based on physical inspection.
- Identification & Bill of Sale: A valid government-issued photo ID and a signed bill of sale are required for every purchase. Seller details and device identifiers are recorded and may be retained and reported as required by Illinois and Chicago secondhand-dealer regulations, including any applicable hold periods before resale.
- Ownership: You certify that you are the legal owner of any device submitted for sale and that it is not lost, stolen, or subject to any lien or installment plan.
- Condition: Quoted prices assume accurate description of device condition.
- Acceptance: Once you accept our offer and ship your device, the transaction is final.
- Payment: Payment is issued within 1-3 business days after inspection and offer acceptance.
- Declined Offers: If you decline our final offer, the device will be returned at your expense.
4. Shipping
- We provide free prepaid shipping labels for mail-in services.
- Customers are responsible for proper packaging to prevent damage.
- We are not liable for devices lost or damaged during shipping.
- Shipping insurance is included with our prepaid labels up to $500.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 2A Electronics Service shall not be liable for:
- Data loss or corruption
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Damages exceeding the amount paid for our services
- Issues arising from customer-provided information
6. Prohibited Items
We do not accept:
- Stolen or lost devices
- Devices with active financing or lease agreements
- Devices flagged as blacklisted by carriers
- Devices with activation locks enabled
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
8. Binding Arbitration & Class-Action Waiver
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
8.1 Agreement to Arbitrate. You and 2A Electronics Service (collectively, the "parties") agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Services, or our relationship, whether based in contract, tort, statute, fraud, misrepresentation, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, state consumer protection laws, or any other legal theory, shall be resolved exclusively through final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.
8.2 Class-Action Waiver. THE PARTIES AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any form of representative proceeding.
8.3 Jury-Trial Waiver. The parties knowingly and voluntarily waive any right to a trial by jury for any claim covered by this Section 8.
8.4 Small-Claims Carve-Out. Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court located in Cook County, Illinois, in lieu of arbitration, provided the claim qualifies under the court's jurisdictional limits.
8.5 Opt-Out Right. You may opt out of this arbitration provision by sending written notice to 2aelectronicsservice@gmail.com within thirty (30) days of first accepting these Terms. Opt-out notice must include your full name and the email and phone number you used on the site.
8.6 Governing Law & Venue. These Terms and any dispute arising under them are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Arbitration shall take place in Chicago, Illinois, or via video at the consumer's election. The Federal Arbitration Act (9 U.S.C. § 1 et seq.) governs the interpretation and enforcement of this Section 8.
Severability. If any portion of this Section 8 is found unenforceable, the remainder will continue in effect, except the Class-Action Waiver, which is non-severable, if the Class-Action Waiver is held unenforceable, the entire Section 8 is null and void as to that dispute.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 2A Electronics Service's total cumulative liability arising out of or relating to your use of the website or services shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Communications & SMS Consent (TCPA)
By providing your phone number, you consent to receive transactional SMS and MMS messages from 2A Electronics Service related to your repair, order, or inquiry (e.g., status updates, pickup notifications). Message and data rates may apply. Frequency varies. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for support. You may also revoke consent in writing at 2aelectronicsservice@gmail.com. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes. Promotional SMS messages, if any, will only be sent after separate, explicit opt-in.
